UNLV’s Baepler Xeric Garden in the News
Back in 1988 we designed the Baepler Xeric Garden on UNLV’s campus. At the time Las Vegas was all about planting water intensive grass and non-desert adapted plant material. The xeric garden was designed to showcase how efficiently watered, desert adapted plant material could still be visually appealing and could function better here in the Mojave Desert.
UNLV showcased the garden in their “The Back Story” series found here: http://www.unlv.edu/news/article/back-story-baepler-xeric-garden
