Mr. Zunino, FASLA, has over 30 years of experience in the fields of landscape architecture and land planning. He founded the office of JW Zunino Landscape Architecture in 1989 and dedicated his career to designing landscapes to be environmentally sensitive landscape to the regions in which they occupy. He has been responsible for the sustainable planning and design of numerous landscape projects, with specific responsibilities ranging from development through construction phase and supervision of all support staff. His experience also includes recreational areas, community master plans, hotel/casinos, demonstration gardens, park planning, public works projects, streetscapes and highway design, and golf course design. Jack served on the Nevada State Board of Landscape Architects from 1989 through 1998, including the Board that spearheaded the 1995 legislative effort to update Nevada’s landscape architecture law.

Mr. Salom specializes in Project Management for urban development/ redevelopment, parks and recreational facilities, streetscapes/roadways and environmental designs for public and private entities with an extensive understanding and development of contract documents, proposal writing, and cost estimating, knowledge and understanding of client principles and procedures. For 12 years Mr. Salom has participated in and managed several hospitality and entertainment projects for JW Zunino. He has been responsible for landscape and aesthetic improvements for several properties, including the M Resort, East Side Cannery, Venetian Hotel, Monte Carlo Casino, University of Nevada Las Vegas, Congregation Ner Tamid and many of JW Zunino’s public and private park designs. In these projects, he has overseen schematic design, construction documents, and cost estimation and construction administration.

Brent joined the JWZ team at the start of 2017. He was born and raised in Hilo, Hawai’i and came to Las Vegas where he received a Bachelor degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He previously worked for a landscape contractor that focused on residential design and UNLV’s Downtown Design Center where his responsibilities were in research and concept design. Both experiences has helped him understand the built and natural environment through design. Brent uses Adobe Design Suite, Sketchup, and F/X CAD as his tools.

Previously an office manager with the Clark County School District, Autumn joined the JWZ team in July of 2016. She relocated from Reno in November of 2015 where she worked for the Washoe County School District for nine years. From large corporations to a two person office, Autumn has a plethora of experience in many different fields, including architecture, which lends to her ability to meet the flexible demands of our landscape architecture office. She looks forward to learning the landscape industry and growing with the company.
Trace joined the JWZ team in mid 2017. Trace was born and raised in Las Vegas where he had received an Advanced Honors High School Diploma specializing in Web Design and Digital Media from West Career and Technical Academy. His primarily uses Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and AutoCAD to create renderings and assistant in creating blueprints for projects. Trace hopes to pursue a career in web design after college. He decided to expand his working knowledge of computer aided design by joining the JWZ team, where he could gain further fluency and advanced skills in Photoshop and AutoCAD.
