The Las Vegas Springs Preserve is a project that will display and preserve the history of the birthplace of Las Vegas, while creating an environment that celebrates the Mojave Desert and all of its’ flora and fauna. JWZ assisted in creating the overall project program and final concept plan during the planning phase. JWZ continued to provide the Las Vegas Valley Water District professional services into the construction document phase.

Some of JWZ’s construction document packages included design of the Garden Support Facility, the Natural History Museum, and the design of thirteen indigenous plant communities along an extensive interpretive trail.

The chance for JW Zunino to play an integral part in the development of the Las Vegas Springs Preserve Master Plan was the kind of opportunity that only comes along once in a lifetime.  Many of the master-planned areas are now built, and this extraordinary site is now preserving and displaying much of the history of Las Vegas.
