This 4.8 million dollar, enhanced trail system extends the first phase by three miles and extends from the south side of the Lower Las Vegas Wash Detention Basin and outfall channel, crosses over Camino Al Norte and the Gowan Outfall Channel, along the northern edge of the Craig Ranch Golf Course to Commerce Street, and follows the flood channel southeast to Alexander Road.  The goal of the project was to provide increased pedestrian circulation, added amenities such as unique shade shelters and benches, beautification through use of native plant materials, customized animal statues and decorative rock designs.

Personal involvement covered overall planning, schematic design, design development, construction documents and construction management. JWZ was involved in the design and layout of the overall trail alignment, planting design, aesthetic treatments, and irrigation design coordination.
