Congregation Ner Tamid was a collaboration of architecture, landscape architecture, art, and religion. This synagogue was meant to be a destination for worship, learning, remembrance, and social gathering. This project included a school, playground, outdoor amphitheater, memorial garden, and a recreational play area. JWZ was to create a memorable experience through the use of memorial planters, creative hardscape, decorative on-site materials, and seasonal landscape. The memorial garden was a team design, which included members of the congregation, YWS Architects, and JWZ.
